Love That Smile

 You can see Claire's 2 teeth here. Her eyes are pretty dark but still hazel. I can't tell what color they are going to end up. She still laughs all the time!

Nathan took his last dose of antibiotic for sinusitis this morning. He seemed to be getting better but then was worse this morning. We'll see what the next couple days hold but we may be back to the doctor soon. His "franglish" is in full force. I'm not sure anyone can understand much of what he's saying these days. It even takes me a while to figure out what language he's speaking. I thought he was saying "pies" for a long time and then figured out he was talking about "paille" (i.e. straw). It's good to know that he wanted to put straw in the barn and not pies!

Funny Pictures

These are Nathan's play dough airplanes - one for each member of the family. His favorite color is still purple so that one is his. Claire is apparently piloting the blue one. Mommy and Daddy have the pink and orange ones. It was really cute when the purple and blue ones passed each other in the sky and Nathan and Claire said "hello" to each other.

9 weeks

Claire is 9 weeks today and as cute as ever. She's just not sure how she feels about Nathan holding her!

What's Nathan up to?

When I got Nathan up from his nap and told him I had to take his diaper off, he went over and sat down by Claire and said "I don't want... changer la couche". Then he said "Daddy work". I'm glad he has someone to confide in! It was his first time talking to her. :)

And the sweetest thing he's ever done... several times I've been rocking him before bedtime and Claire has started to fuss. When he hears her, he'll say "dans le lit" meaning that I can put him in his crib and then he'll say "Mommy help Claire". And he'll go down without a fuss!!! This is our Nathan whose been fighting us over going to bed for 2 years! Nothing short of a miracle!

Blanket Time

This is Nathan doing "blanket time" so well. He spends most of his time reading books and likes it now! We moved his blanket in front of his bookshelf. One time, he just walked in his room and closed the door behind himself. It's the only time he really plays by himself and the most relaxing 45 min of my day. :)
